Absolute beginners
Beginner course is perfect for those with no prior belly dance experience. Over 9 weeks, Nerissa will teach foundational moves, building confidence through new techniques and fun combinations in a supportive environment.
Advanced Class
Nerissa’s Advanced level class is suitable to dancers who are experienced in Middle Eastern dance either through previous studies or the completion of the earlier levels. This class is by invitation.
Bellydance Elevate upper Intermediate
In addition to mastering intricate and challenging choreographies , this level also delves into the study of regional dance styles. This includes a thorough examination of the technical aspects and characteristics of each style, as well as an in-depth exploration of the cultural origins from which they stem.
Bellydance Evolve
The Bellydance Evolve class, designed for individuals who have successfully completed level 1 and are eager to take on a new challenge. This level offers an opportunity to build upon existing techniques and explore exciting new ones.
Intermediate
In the Intermediate level 3 Bellydance class, we delve deeper into the art of Bellydance, taking on new and exciting challenges to become well-rounded dancers.
Technique and Combination class
This fast-paced class focuses on learning and mastering a short, challenging combination, with the option to showcase their skills in a group video at the end of each session.

Hello there! My name is Nerissa and I am so excited to share the beautiful art of bellydance with you. For the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to teaching women of all ages, backgrounds and body types the joy of bellydancing. It's more than just a dance - it's a way to embrace your feminine energy, connect with women from different cultures, and stay healthy and confident in both mind and body. I am so passionate about bellydance and its health benefits and I would love you to experience them as well. Bellydance is such a special style of dance which celebrates all body shapes making it ideal for all women. I offer 9 weekly classes ranging from beginner to advanced/professional levels, both in-studio and through my new online school for those who prefer to learn from the comfort of their own home. I can't wait to dance with you!

What are the benefits of learning belly dance?
Does regularity affect the quality of lessons?
Consistency is key to making progress in belly dance. With regular practice, you can refine your techniques and grow as a dancer. Nerissa recommends beginner students attending classes once a week and as they progress to higher levels, at least twice a week, with the most dedicated students taking up to 3 or 4 classes a week for the best results.
